Reading International Radio Group
The next meeting of the Reading International Radio Group will be on Saturday November 26th in Room 3 at the Reading International Solidarity Centre, 35-39 London Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 4PS at 2.30 p.m.
The meeting will include a report on the Amsterdam Radio Day, which had panels on Media Network, early offshore forts stations and Radio London 266, history and future of longwave broadcasting, including a look at the 1970's proposed American longwave Public Emergency System, and also CONELRAD that used mediumwave, as well as other current and historical radio related items and audio extracts.
